The place to See in Nepal
Kathmandu:
Kathmandu is the royal capital of Nepal and today is a part of Province No. 3. It is a highly developed city in Nepal along with unmanaged urbanization and population. In a good fact, it is rich in religion and Culture. Temples and Historical arts are found in every corner of Kathmandu Valley. Historically, Kathmandu is known as Nepal Mandala and it is a major residence of Newar People but later people from others migrate in Kathmandu in search of facilities and better life settlement. The reason Kathmandu is taken as the City of Temple is due to the presence of many temples. Some of the popular temples are Pashupatinath Temple, Swambhu Nath Temple, Baudha Nath Temple, and chagunarayan Temple. The famous Durbar Squares of Kathmandu are Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Besides these, there is another famous place to visit in Kathmandu. Chandra Giri hills are one and only ropeway in Kathmandu which is approximately 30 min to 60 min in a vehicle. This is famous for a viewpoint where you can have beautiful views of Kathmandu. Another Ropeway is located 141 km away from Kathmandu known as Manakamana Ropeway which is famous for Manakamana Temple. Nagarkot is another hot spot that is worth to visit. It is 26km via Araniko Highway. Nagarkot is famous for its sunrise view.
Pokhara:
Pokhara is one of the beautiful cities in Nepal and popular for the tourism industry. The half part of city is covered with Phewa Lake that reflect beautiful view of Annapurna Mountain Ranges. Tal Barahi Temple is located in the southeast section of Phewa Lake which is located on a small island. People visit temple by boating in Phewa Lake. Devi’s Falls is another popular place to visit in Pokhara. It is famous for the underground waterfall with a complex design. Begnas Lake is located in the south-east of Pokhara. It is the third-largest lake of Nepal and the second largest after Phewa Lake. Mahendra Cave is another famous place to visit in Pokhara. It is a large limestone cave and a statue of Hindu Lord Shiva can be found Inside.
The Bindhyabasini Temple is a famous temple that is supposed to be connected with Bindhyabasini Temple in Uttar Pradesh, India. Nepal’s Bindhyabasini Temple is located in Hilltop which can be seen from the city of Pokhara.
Chitwan:
Chitwan is the fourth largest city located central south of Nepal. It is 175 km far from Kathmandu. Chitwan is famous for National Park which is the first national park in Nepal and granted as a world heritage site in 1984. Chitwan Jungle Safari is the most popular activity that can be done in Chitwan. Elephant Breeding Centre is another area of activities. Exploring the Tharu Cultural Museum and their cultural dance is also popular in Chitwan.
