Langtang Region Trekking

The Langtang Region Trekking is located north of Kathmandu, near the Tibetan border. This trekking area offers stunning mountain scenery and a rich cultural experience in the Himalayas, all while being easily accessible from the city life of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is a part of Langtang National Park with its Tibetan-influenced culture and diverse ecosystems. Langtang stands out as one of Nepal's most accessible yet less crowded trekking destinations.

Although it is less commercialized than the Everest or Annapurna regions, Langtang boasts a rich cultural heritage, primarily rooted in Tibetan Buddhism, along with breathtaking alpine scenery and fewer crowds. The area was significantly impacted by the 2015 earthquake, but the trekking infrastructure has since been restored.
