If you are in reasonable health, you should be able to complete this itinerary without significant difficulty. However, please note that the trek reaches a maximum altitude of approximately 3,700 meters, which can lead to symptoms of altitude sickness. What Is the Best Time of Year for the Everest View Trek?

If you’re planning a trekking trip to Nepal, it’s important to know about the best seasons for trekking. Nepal has four distinct seasons, and the optimal times for the Everest View Trek align closely with those for the Everest Base Camp Trek.

The best trekking seasons in Nepal are generally influenced by the arrival of summer, which brings the monsoon. Most hikers prefer to visit during the spring season, from February to April. This period features blooming wildflowers and comfortable temperatures, making it an ideal time for trekking.

The autumn season, spanning from the last week of August through November, is arguably the best time for crisp days and clear mountain views.

You can also embark on this adventure during winter, from the last week of December to the first week of February. During this time, you’ll experience clear blue skies and excellent visibility, although temperatures can be quite cold, and fresh snowfall may occur. Proper equipment is essential for this season.

While trekking during the summer months of June, July, and August is possible, be aware that these seasons can be quite quiet. You may experience rainfall, and conditions can be challenging due to the heavy monsoon.

Regardless of when you choose to trek, Nepal Spirit Adventure is happy to help organize a suitable adventure for you throughout the year.

Important Note:

Domestic flights between Kathmandu and Lukla may occasionally be delayed or canceled due to weather conditions. This can happen at any time of the year. We strongly recommend adding a couple of extra days before and after your trek to your itinerary. Nepal Spirit Adventure will assist you in making any necessary alternative arrangements to minimize disruptions to your holiday.

What Is the Trekking Permit Cost for The Everest View Trek?

When embarking on the Everest View Trek, you will enter Sagarmatha National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and seasonal flora, which enriches the trekking experience. The cost of the trekking permit for this trek is NPR 6,000 (approximately USD 45) per trekker. This fee covers entry into Sagarmatha National Park and the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality development charges.

Nepal Spirit Adventure is pleased to include this permit cost in our full board package for the Everest View Trek. We offer competitive prices along with the best local Sherpa trekking guides and porters, prioritizing the support of local communities in the Khumbu Valley.

While the Everest View Trek is relatively short and easy, you may also want to consider our classic 14-day Everest Base Camp Trek, which begins and ends in Kathmandu.

If you're interested in experiencing a side of Khumbu that many travelers overlook, take a look at our Everest Gokyo Lake Trek or the EBC Cho La Pass trails. More adventurous trekkers might choose to combine the Everest Base Camp trek with Island Peak climbing.

No matter which route you decide to take, you can count on Nepal Spirit Adventure to help you create the perfect customized itinerary for your unforgettable Himalayan journey.

Namche Bazaar and Vegetation on The Everest View Trek:

The trek to Namche Bazaar already ascends to a high-altitude zone compared to sea level, as Namche is located at 3,440 meters (11,286 feet). This village serves as the main gateway for the Everest Base Camp Trek, expeditions, Peka climbing, and numerous alternative trekking routes, including Gokyo Lake, Renjo La Pass, Chola Pass, and the Everest Three Passes snowland trail.

The Everest View Trek itinerary takes hikers through beautiful forests filled with rhododendrons, pines, and fir trees, eventually leading to an arctic temperature zone characterized by barren and icy landscapes. During this trek, you can witness a dramatic change in vegetation, climate, and landscapes in a short period, culminating in breathtaking views of Everest. Even if you don’t have enough time to reach Everest Base Camp at 5,364 meters (17,598 feet), the trek offers incredible opportunities to experience this majestic region.

Essential Information

Why Kathmandu Hotel Isn't Included in the Trip Package?

That very good question. We can book any category of hotel in Kathmandu before and after the trek. For your pleasure, you should choose your accommodation in Kathmandu yourself, while there are so many different kinds of accommodations available. If you want to make Kathmandu's hotel a part of the trip package, we can provide you with just a contact.

What kind of accommodation do you provide during the trek period?

As per your trip booking, we provide lodge (teahouse) accommodation during the trekking period. A tea house is a combination of a guest house, restaurant, and social hangout. The rooms have twin beds and little additional furniture, like small tables or chairs. Most bathrooms are common with squatting (Asian) toilets or of Western comfort with sitting toilets. Most Tea Houses/lodges have running cold and hot water facilities. You need to pay the extra cost of using a hot shower.

What type of food do you provide during the Everest View trek?

During the trekking session, full board meals are included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We provide food from these local lodges/tea houses as per the choices on the menu. Breakfast and dinner are provided at the same tea house/lodge, while lunch would be on the trail. Every Tea House serves the traditional Nepali meal Dal Bhat (rice and lentils), as well as a variety of different food items, such as rice, seasonal vegetables, noodles, potatoes, and soups. Some lodge serves Western foods such as pizza, pasta, and French fries.

Are soft Drinks available in the Everest View Trek?

Soft drinks are available throughout the entire Everest View Trek. All the table drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks) aren't included in the tour package because no one knows about personal drinking habits, which is why we aren't providing any kind of drinks in the tour package.

Can We Buy Water Along the Trek?

You can buy water along your journey to the Everest View trek. Safe drinking water is very important while we are on a trek, and we recommend that one should drink at least 3-4 liters of water a day (this helps from dehydration and altitude problems, AMS). We provide filtered, clean water and add purification pills to our entire trip package. Besides this, if you wish to drink sealed, packed mineral and boiled water, you can buy it en route at extra cost, which costs one liter of water bottle $1-2.

What Kind of Physical Fitness Is Required for this trek?

Required fitness before you join this adventure: Health and physical fitness are the most important parts of travel and participating in trekking and hiking. If you do not have previous trekking experience as required, you can start with a morning walking exercise or cycling for weeks or months before/after booking the trip with us. If you have previous trekking and climbing experience, it will add a plus point to the trek chosen; most of the trek is non-technical effort walks.

The highest height gain on this trip is at 3,867m above sea level, the walk involves lots of ups and downs, walking through local villages, farmlands, terraces, and the riverside as long as you have energy walking for 4- 6 hours a day, and if you are qualified for the trek but still requires moderate health and fitness.

We strongly advise travelers to consult their medical doctor before traveling, do a regular check-up, and hand the report to us while booking a trip with us. "Always good to know about the health condition before starting the high altitude trek in the Nepal Himalayas".

Do You Have An Experienced Trek Guide for this trip?

All of our trek guides are qualified in their work and licensed and certified. Nepal's mountainous country walk takes you to the remote region. It is necessary that you are accompanied by an experienced and qualified guide and leaders for a safe journey and to make the trip a success.

We at Nepal Spirit Adventure employ native trekking guides and porters who are trained and qualified for this type of trip and have worked with us for a long time. Our guide provides much local information and offers you advice on how to use your free time and coordinate day-to-day events of the tour, although (sometimes) he might need you to understand that if things do not go according to our plan.

All our trekking and climbing guides are well qualified and highly experienced, with 9- 10 years in this job. We provide training for our staff yearly on medicine and climbing, with their efficiency, cheerful attitude, providing help, information, and meeting the needs of guests of various nationalities.

Assuring that all our trips are well managed by an expert team of tourism professionals, all our guides have good knowledge regarding the culture and customs of the routes on trekking and tours, and share experience and cultural insights of the country that are missed out in travel guide books.

During your trek and tour with us, you will have time to learn Nepali phrases and other cultural aspects during the journey. As we organize varied treks in the Nepal Himalaya, on group trekking we provide a trek leader with an assistance leader on each trek, depending upon the size of the group.

To make the trip enjoyable, we provide one guide to support and carry your bags among two people with one Sherpa helper in certain conditions.

What is the minimum group size for this adventure?

The minimum group size requires 2 people to run this adventure, and the maximum group size will be 10 people in our group's trek organization. We organize a private trip for a solo person with a single supplement cost. Otherwise, join our estimated group departure dates available online market or ask us for your suitable flexible dates. We will open group dates on the same date.
