Classic Nepal Bhutan Tour (7 Nights / 8 Days)

Experience a joyful cultural heritage extravaganza in two of South Asia’s most serene and beautiful countries: Nepal and Bhutan. This 7-night, 8-day Classic Nepal Bhutan Tour offers a perfect blend of spiritual discovery, natural beauty, and centuries-old history. The journey begins in Kathmandu, Nepal—ranked among the top 25 travel destinations in the world by TripAdvisor in 2015—before moving on to Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon.

Day 2: Scenic Everest Mountain Flight

The tour’s first highlight is a breathtaking one-hour Everest mountain flight from Kathmandu. This round-trip flight offers stunning close-up views of Mount Everest (8,848 m / 29,028 ft), along with many other majestic Himalayan peaks. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience you’ll never forget.

Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour

After the scenic flight, we explore Kathmandu's World Heritage Sites, offering a deeper insight into Nepalese culture and history. An expert city guide will accompany you throughout the day, enriching your experience with engaging stories and local insights.

Pashupatinath Temple (UNESCO Site)

Our tour begins at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, this ancient pagoda-style temple is accessible only to Hindus. Still, non-Hindu visitors can observe the temple from across the river.

Boudhanath Stupa (UNESCO Site)

Next, we visit the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, also known as "Little Tibet." It is the largest Buddhist stupa in South Asia and a vital center of Tibetan Buddhism. Built in the 6th century AD, its dome-shaped structure represents a lotus, symbolizing purity and enlightenment.

Kathmandu Durbar Square (UNESCO Site)

In the afternoon, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a hub of historical palaces, temples, and courtyards. Visit landmarks such as the Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess), Kal Bhairab, Hanuman Dhoka, and the Kasthamandap, built from a single tree. The area reflects the grandeur of the Malla dynasty and remains a cultural treasure.

Swayambhunath Stupa (UNESCO Site)

Later, we drive to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist sites in the world. Perched atop a hill west of Kathmandu, the stupa features the iconic all-seeing eyes of Buddha and offers panoramic views of the valley. It is deeply revered by followers of the Vajrayana tradition.

All entrance fees are included in your tour package:

Day05

Explore Punakha to Dochu La Pass (3,050m/10,006ft) & Paro

Start your day early with a short, easy hike to Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the eccentric Buddhist saint Drukpa Kunley. Often referred to as the "Fertility Temple," it is famous for its phallic imagery, believed to ward off evil spirits. The temple is a popular pilgrimage site for Bhutanese people, especially those hoping to conceive children.

After your visit, drive back through the stunning Dochu La Pass, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks stretching along the border with Tibet.

For even more breathtaking scenery, continue on a two-hour trek to Lungchutse Lhakhang, a temple perched about 1,640 feet (500 meters) above Dochu La Pass. The trail winds through a beautiful forest filled with moss-covered trees, birch, hemlock, and vibrant rhododendrons.

Pause for a picnic lunch in the fresh mountain air before making your way downhill to Trashigang Goemba, a serene meditation center. From there, you’ll be picked up and driven back to Paro for an overnight stay.

Day06

Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery

This morning, embark on a full-day hike to the iconic Paro Taktsang, also known as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Perched dramatically on a cliffside, this 17th-century temple complex is one of Bhutan’s most revered landmarks. The hike to the monastery involves a somewhat steep ascent and typically takes between one to three hours, depending on your pace.

If you’re feeling energetic, continue further uphill to explore a few lesser-known monasteries tucked away from the main trail. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Paro Valley along the way.

On your descent, stop at Khyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. In the evening, wrap up your journey with a farewell dinner shared with your guide, reflecting on the incredible experiences of your trip.
