Manaslu Trekking Region Permit
The Manaslu Trekking Region offers a variety of walking paths, including the Manaslu Base Camp, Larke Pass, Tsum Valley, and the Manaslu Circuit Trek. To trek on any of these trails, a trekking permit is required, which can be obtained through a government-registered trekking company in Nepal. It is also mandatory to have an approved licensed trek guide for all trekking routes in the Manaslu Trekking Region. Transportation for Manaslu Region Trekking
Transportation is a crucial factor for embarking on trekking trails in the Manaslu Region of Nepal. With the improvement of road connectivity, trekkers can take a bus or a private jeep to Machhakhola. Previously, the classic Manaslu trek began in Arughat, Dhading, or Gorkha. The trekking itinerary has evolved to accommodate these changes.
Good news for Manaslu trek enthusiasts: after crossing the Larke La Pass at an elevation of 5,106 meters, you will descend to Bhimthang and the Magar/Gurung villages of Tilje. From there, local buses or jeeps can take you to Besisahar, where you can drive back to Kathmandu by bus or private transportation. A variety of transportation options are available in the Manaslu Trekking Region of the Gorkha-Gandaki province in Nepal.
