Trekking to Mount Everest base camp in Nepal Himalayas, the main trek season is from September to June when daytime temperatures at most altitudes are generally comfortable for walking, the sky is very clear most of the time, and rain and snow are occasional occurrences.
In the daytime temperatures will vary from 15ºC to 35ºC in the capital city of Nepal- Kathmandu valley to around 10ºC at 3,600m and progressively lower the higher we go. Different seasons offer different advantages for trekking, climbing, and hiking.
