About Kathmandu Rim Hill Hiking 4 Days
Kathmandu Rim Hill Hiking is a perfect way to escape from the busy hustle and bustle of city life for a few days in the harmony of pristine nature and around traditional hill villages where you can witness typical Nepalese culture and heritage life.
Hiking in Nepal a destination of great combination with mountain views, striking sunrise within the serene cool shade of tall rhododendron-pines-magnolia-oaks and fir tree lines, and visiting traditional villages of immense colorful cultures.
This easy hiking leads you just a mere distance away from Kathmandu city towards North East of the valley rim and then start our fabulous hike from Sundarijal (beautiful water spots) town, heading with an uphill past patch of cool forest to enter Shivapuri National Park.
Shivapuri National Park also known as Watershed & Wildlife Reserve where its top ridge stands at 2,523 meters high, hereafter getting the entrance tickets for a slow hike into a pristine wooded area with nice views of Kathmandu Valley below after a leisure walk listening to the sound of different species of birds life found around. The walk progress with an uphill climb past spread-out farm villages of the Tamang tribe, the hill and mountain people of Tibetan Buddhism origin.
On Kathmandu Rim Hill Hiking with a first overnight stop at scenic Chisapani the highest point of the walk at 2,195m high, offering super sunrise views over an array of central Himalaya range of peaks, our next destination leads to the famous tourist and excellent viewpoint at Nagarkot in the comfort of nice and cozy lodge and resorts with rooms with a view.
Our last day walk of this wonderful Kathmandu High Hill Journey leads further east above the high ridges of the valley past nice farm villages, and terraces and into serene woodland with ever-present views of mountains range from Manaslu-Ganesh-Langtang-Jugal Himal towards Everest range on the eastern horizon.
After a great scenic and pleasant walk ending our magnificent hiking at beautiful Dhulikhel town, a 500 years old Newari village offering superb views of the mountain range and also a place with many splendid lodges and resorts, our wonderful walk concludes with an exciting drive back to Kathmandu with a memorable and enjoyable time.
Best Season: Spring (March to June and Autumn (September to December) is one of the best seasons for Kathmandu High Hill Easy Trekking. The climate is sunny and warm with excellent views, if you wish to avoid crowds and enjoy some alone time with nature then taking this trip during the winter season (January and February) month is also a good and lifetime experience doing this trip.
